Gangri Tours & Travels has crossed an important threshold. Come 2016, we would be in the business for 25 years – a Silver Jubilee milestone. We were the first company to be formed when Bhutan privatised the tourism industry. Down the years, we have had our high and lows but it has been a remarkable journey nonetheless.

In hindsight, our growth has been spectacular. We have handled so less than 20,000 guests which, by Bhutanese standard, is a staggering figure for a country that had set itself on the path of “high value, low volume” tourism. We were among the top 10 operators for each of the last 24 years.
