Frankly, in Bhutan the tour companies sell basically the same products. What sets us apart, however, is the team. Gangri has invested a lot into building a core team of guides, researchers, interpreters, chauffeurs and other ground crew. Today, they are among the best in the industry. They are trained in field guiding; each one has a specialized area – birding, flowers, high altitude trek, culture, iconography, adventure, etc – and, together, they speak more than a dozen international languages. There is not of land they have not stepped on, leading guests year after year.
Our guides will often sit down with you after an adventurous day and talk about how you might like the next day to unfold. Would you want to do a little more? Or a little less? Is there something interesting in particular that you would like to delve into? After all, this is your holiday, your tour. No wonder that our guests have dubbed our guides as ‘consummate hosts’.
